Description
Under the Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals we created an innovative training course for your personal improvement. YouTube is a one-stop shop for educational video, for alsmost anything! It's also very easy to use, so easy that it can be the Google search engine of the future (it is now...). As the use of YouTube for education continues to grow, it’s essential for educators to establish a presence on the web. While learning networks with short clips are on the rise, the opportunity to create and share didactic videos is still a vital part of developing your educational voice.
In our seminar you will learn how to produce educational video material with video editing software and create a YouTube account and set up a YouTube channel. You will learn to customize it and all the fine tunning you need to do in the settings area in order to promote your content. As video is becoming increasingly more productive as a supplemental medium for education to traditional text books and class room lectures, you will learn to create and upload them in your YouTube channel. You will learn to optimize your content (SEO: Search Engine Optimization) and to add metadata using tags to help your page be found when people are searching for content on a particular subject.
