Description
Web 3.0 is about revolutionary new ways of creating, collaborating, editing and sharing user-generated content online. It's also about ease of use. There's no need to download, and teachers and students can master many of these tools in minutes.
Video is becoming increasingly more productive as a supplemental medium for education to traditional text books and class room lectures. The videos can take on a traditional serious tone or they can take a light-hearted and entertaining approach to education depending on the audience age and the material.
Digital Storytelling is the practice of using computer-based tools to create stories. Digital storytelling allows students to jointly create and share their stories outside of the traditional written form using their imagination, creativity and cultural experiences. Digital stories contain mixture of images, text, recorded audio narration, video clips and/or music. The current trend is to engage students in digital story making/telling activities (often collaborative ones) that will stimulate them to become digital story tellers, thus helping them acquirer multilateral skills.
The objective of this course is to familiarize European teachers with ways to use digital storytelling techniques in classroom, get familiar with the latest WEB 2.0 and WEB 3.0 Tools and expand their knowledge in screen capturing and video producing. This means that the participants of this course will have the opportunity to gain great knowledge on how to involve video capturing, tools, strategies and practical tips of digital storytelling into their teaching. The training course will provide European teachers with an introduction to Digital storytelling approach, as well as with hands-on experiences with practical examples and case studies (pre existing Lesson plans) and tools that are commonly used to help students creating digital stories in the Classroom. Under this scope, the participants will be able to create their own lesson plans incorporating standalone tools and web applications in their everyday activities, encouraging, at the same time, their students to become digital story creators.
Course Modules
The course content has been organized in 15 modules, covering the below issues:
- Digital Storytelling approach
- Introduction and analysis of Case studies
- Presentation of standalone authoring tools that can be used by teachers and students for creating digital stories (Comics, Animations, Interactive Material)

Description
Under the Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals we created an innovative training course for your personal improvement. YouTube is a one-stop shop for educational video, for alsmost anything! It's also very easy to use, so easy that it can be the Google search engine of the future (it is now...). As the use of YouTube for education continues to grow, it’s essential for educators to establish a presence on the web. While learning networks with short clips are on the rise, the opportunity to create and share didactic videos is still a vital part of developing your educational voice.
In our seminar you will learn how to produce educational video material with video editing software and create a YouTube account and set up a YouTube channel. You will learn to customize it and all the fine tunning you need to do in the settings area in order to promote your content. As video is becoming increasingly more productive as a supplemental medium for education to traditional text books and class room lectures, you will learn to create and upload them in your YouTube channel. You will learn to optimize your content (SEO: Search Engine Optimization) and to add metadata using tags to help your page be found when people are searching for content on a particular subject.

Description
Under the Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals we created an innovative training course for your personal improvement. Information technologies can change the traditional methods of solving mathematical problems and have potential to facilitate an active approach to learning, allowing students to become involved in discovery and to consolidate their own knowledge, thus developing conceptual and geometrical understanding and a deeper approach to learning. Emergence of these mathematical tools and its capabilities dealing with most of the Web 2.0 tools, enable mathematic teachers to enter data and create multimedia products combining text, graphics, audio, and video. The possibilities for creativity are endless. Interactive or dynamic geometry environments (IGE/ DGEs), computer algebra system (CAS) and interactive whiteboard (IWB) applications are being used not just to manage, model, and analyze data in traditionally applied fields, but also to aid in complicated symbolic computations and simulations in a range of pure fields.
The objective of this course is to familiarize European mathematics and science teachers with ways to use Web 2.0 applications, providing a variety of tools to help them produce creative activities and provide to students a context in which they will create, collaborate, and communicate. Under this scope, the participants will be able to create their own lesson plans incorporating web 2.0 math tools and web applications in their everyday activities, encouraging, at the same time, their students to do mathematics. The implementation of these programs in the educational process requires a radical revision of the content and methods of teaching, using a fresh approach to the teaching of mathematics, taking into account the attraction of pupils and students to computers from the means of graphics and animation, increasing significantly their understanding of the basic concepts of mathematics.

STEM educational aims to prepare primary and secondary students for college and graduate study in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics foster inquiring minds, logical reasoning, and collaboration skills. Introduced to the field of education as the next big thing, STEM education is commonly understood as an educational approach that integrates Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Educational Robotics is a broad term that refers to a collection of activities, instructional programs, physical platforms, educational resources and pedagogical philosophy.
The primary of objective of educational robotics is to provide a set of experience to facilitate the student's development of knowledge, skills and attitudes for the design, analysis, application and operation of robots. It is emphasized that the need to prepare students with twenty-first-century skills through STEM-related teaching is strong, and workshops using kits to build and program robots are a modern form of interdisciplinary education of children and youth. The rationale for conducting such activities in schools is found in the European reference framework in the context of training of key competences
The purpose of the course is helping teachers learn how to design and implement science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) lessons using robotics.
